Coke Studio is a program that features live musical performances by various artists, recorded in a studio. Coke Studio was first started in Pakistan in the subcontinent. Later, the studio ventured into India in the same pattern by associating with MTV. Since 2008, Coca-Cola has been the show's sponsor. Indian Coke Studio did some good songs but could not even come close to Pakistan Coke Studio. But Coke Studio's entry into Bangladesh is with the fusion of Indian versions of Bengali songs. The first Coke Studio was a Pakistani TV series where artists from different genres, regions, and styles came together to record live. Coke Studio has its own house band, joined by renowned master artists of Sufi, Classical, Raga, and Folk genres. Different rock and pop bands performed with these masters.
